Product Overview
This custom mechanical latch component combines a lever arm, pivot features, mounting sections and functional engagement surfaces within a single cast structure. Investment casting allows these complex geometries to be produced with fewer separate components while maintaining good dimensional consistency and surface quality.
The component can be supplied as-cast or further processed through CNC machining, heat treatment and surface finishing according to the required assembly, loading and service conditions.
Complex integrated latch and lever geometry
Pivot, mounting and engagement features
Near-net-shape investment casting
CNC machining for critical functional areas
Custom dimensions based on customer drawings
Suitable for low- to medium-volume precision hardware production
Casting & Machining
Mechanical latch and lever components often contain ribs, curved arms, bosses, pivot sections and irregular profiles that can be difficult or costly to manufacture entirely from solid material.
Zeren uses the lost wax investment casting process to form these features close to the final geometry, helping reduce machining requirements while maintaining consistent component shape.
Critical functional areas can then be CNC machined according to drawing tolerances.

Applications
Investment cast latch and lever components can be used in mechanical assemblies where complex geometry, reliable engagement and integrated structural features are required.
Typical related applications include:
Industrial locking mechanisms
Mechanical latch assemblies
Equipment access hardware
Hinged and pivoting mechanisms
Industrial enclosure hardware
Heavy-duty mounting hardware
Architectural and structural hardware
Custom mechanical assemblies
Zeren manufactures these components according to customer drawings rather than supplying standard off-the-shelf hardware. Different structures, materials and machining requirements can be evaluated for production.
