This reinforced mounting bracket is manufactured by investment casting to form its integrated frame, cross ribs and mounting features in a single component. The ribbed structure helps improve rigidity while reducing the need for separately fabricated or welded reinforcement parts.

Zeren provides custom investment casting and CNC machining for steel mounting brackets and structural hardware components based on customer drawings, 3D models and application requirements. Critical mounting holes, mating surfaces and dimensional features can be machined and inspected according to project specifications.

Product Overview

Reinforced Structural Design in One Cast Component

The bracket features an integrated rectangular frame with cross reinforcement ribs and mounting sections at both ends. Investment casting allows these structural features to be produced as a near-net-shape component, reducing the need for multiple welded or assembled parts.

Depending on the application, the casting design can be optimized for wall thickness, rib transitions, fillets, mounting bosses and machining allowance to balance strength, manufacturability and material usage.

Typical Features

  • Integrated cross reinforcement ribs

  • Mounting holes and end connection sections

  • One-piece cast structural frame

  • Machinable mounting and locating surfaces

  • Custom dimensions based on drawings

  • Suitable for low- to medium-volume custom production

Casting & Machining

Investment Casting with Secondary CNC Machining

Investment casting is suitable for structural brackets with integrated ribs, irregular geometry and multiple mounting features that may be difficult to manufacture economically by conventional fabrication alone.

The lost wax casting process enables the main geometry to be formed close to the final shape, while CNC machining can then be applied to features requiring tighter dimensional control.

Typical Machined Features

Mounting Holes · Bores · Locating Surfaces · End Faces · Threads · Slots · Datum Features

Machining allowances and datum locations can be reviewed before tooling to help maintain consistency between the casting and finished component.

From Tooling to Finished Component

Our manufacturing process combines investment casting, post-casting treatment, CNC machining and dimensional inspection to produce finished steel hardware components according to customer specifications.

Quality Control

Inspection of Casting and Machined Features

Structural mounting components often depend on consistent hole positions, mating surfaces and overall dimensional accuracy. Inspection can therefore be carried out at both the casting and finished-machining stages according to drawing requirements.

Available Inspection

Material Verification
Spectrometer testing for chemical composition.

Dimensional Inspection
CMM, gauges and dimensional measurement for critical features.

Surface Inspection
Visual inspection of casting surfaces, machined areas and finishing quality.

Hardness Testing
Available when specified by material or heat-treatment requirements.

Final Inspection
Critical dimensions and machining features are checked before shipment.
